Kestrel HR Analytics was founded in 2021 by three people who had spent a decade between them inside mid-market HR functions. The shared frustration was simple. The reporting tools available to HR were either too lightweight (the dashboard layers built into HRIS suites) or too heavy (the enterprise analytics platforms designed for 50,000-employee companies and priced accordingly).
We built Kestrel for the middle. A company with 800 employees does not need a fifteen-person analytics team to predict attrition, model headcount cost, or connect engagement scores to revenue per employee. It needs a working dashboard, opinionated defaults, and integrations with the HRIS, payroll, and engagement systems most mid-market companies already run.
What we do, exactly
Kestrel is a hosted people-analytics platform with three primary workflows. Attrition prediction at the team level, headcount cost modeling with scenario planning, and engagement-to-revenue analysis. The platform integrates with Workday, BambooHR, Rippling, HiBob, Gusto, Culture Amp, and Lattice as of 2026.
We do not build the engagement survey itself. We do not run pulse surveys. We are a layer that sits on top of the systems already producing data inside your HR function and turns that data into the four or five decisions HR leaders actually have to make each quarter.
