Priya leads compensation analytics at Kestrel HR Analytics. Her work focuses on the intersection of compensation strategy and attrition modeling — specifically, where pay decisions show up as retention outcomes nine to twelve months later, and how compensation teams can use predictive analytics to get ahead of those outcomes.
Priya joined Kestrel from a senior role on the compensation team at a 4,000-employee fintech, where she rebuilt the company's pay-band structure to handle the wage compression that started showing up in 2024. Before that, she spent four years as a compensation consultant working with mid-market HR teams across Europe and Asia.
Priya holds a master's degree in Behavioral Science from the London School of Economics. Her academic background informs her view that compensation decisions are at least as much about perceived fairness as they are about market alignment — a view that runs through her writing on DEI measurement and pay-band design.
